How to change my search mode

Postby Upsclimber » 20 Mar 2019, 22:43

I get kicked from certain hubs with this as the reason.
You are in active mode, but have activated passive search. --
-- Don't use passive search if you have search results without this option --
-- because you don't get search result from passive clients !!! --
-- Turn it off in settings => AirDC++ => Always use passive mode for search --
How can I change to Active search? I'm just moving to AirDC and apparently my brain isn't functioning.

Check "Settings" -> "Advanced" -> "Always use passive mode for search"

I do not know if my question is about here, but to ask. How can I change auto search time from 60 minutes to less? I set it in "Minimum search interval" to 10 minutes, but in my system log it says: Searching the bundle Adele - Discography - 2007-2015 320kbps for alternatives, 3 search (es) queued. Next search in 60 minutes
Am I something mistaken or?

The search time is determined by the application and it won't spam searches for the same bundle more often than once per hour (unless bundle is newly published). You can read more about the search for alternates from viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1856
