Can't connect in Active mode

Postby Snard » 21 Mar 2018, 20:28

I recently migrated from ApexDC++ to AirDC++ because of numerous improved features (which I won't go into here) but there is one thing I haven't been able to get to work correctly: active mode. With what I think is the same configuration on both programs, I can connect in active mode only with ApexDC++. I am able to download files from other users with both programs, although my sessions in AirDC++ always take longer because it won't connect to (or download from) other passive users.

I am configured for Active mode with NAT-PMP / UPnP, and when I connect, I see a message in the status bar saying that it has created port mappings successfully:

[Wed 03/21 14:22:50] Connectivity (IPv4): Port mapping: Successfully created port mappings (Transfers: 6890, Encrypted transfers: 6892, Search: 6890) on the "192.168.86.1" device with the NAT-PMP interface

My router is a Google Wifi, on which I have enabled UPnP.

For the record, I also tried manually forwarding ports to my computer on the router, with the same results.

Any assistance or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have software firewalls that could block the connections...?
