Crash when "Download to -> Browse"

Postby pizdun » 12 Oct 2012, 16:25

Everything worked fine, but few days ago all of the sudden it started to crash when I wanted to download in custom directories

exceptioninfo.txt:

Code: Select all
Code: c0000005
Version: 2.23
Major: 6
Minor: 1
Build: 7600
SP: 0
Type: 1
Time: 2012-05-10 19:22:20
TTH: JFMICYHY4GNOJCZYE33WAI2EKTUYQFI6MZJSQ2A

c:\projects\airsvn\branches\2.2x\client\adlsearch.cpp(616): ?

Win7 x64
AirDC++ version is 2.30 x64, no idea why in exceptioninfo.txt says 2.23

regards

That seems to be an old crash log from May. Do you have a valid default downloading path set in settings?

yeah, I just realised that ..

I do have download path set up, and as I stated, this problem is only few days old, everything worked fine until then

I've deleted old exceptioninfo, but new one isn't generated when program crashes ... so I can only paste program crash details from microsoft:

Code: Select all
Description:
  Stopped working

Problem signature:
  Problem Event Name:   APPCRASH
  Application Name:   AirDC.exe
  Application Version:   0.7.8.2
  Application Timestamp:   4fc0fd4a

  Fault Module Version:   6.1.7601.17514
  Fault Module Timestamp:   4ce7c78c
  Exception Code:   e053534f
  Exception Offset:   000000000000a49d
  OS Version:   6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48
  Locale ID:   1050

I'd try reseting the default download path or changing it to something else... it's hard to say much much as it's a windows crash so there's no crash log

Hey again

So, I:

- bought a new SSD
- installed windows 8 (had win 7 before)
- downloaded newest airdc beta

and yet this happens ... no idea what could possibly be wrong?...

I gave a possible solution in the previous post... did you try it?

I'm a bit clueless if you have no strange characters in the path or anything.... could you also try if it crashes when you try to use the "Open file list..." option from the "File" menu?

I don't know if some of those could help you:

I'd say that it looks like something caused by a third party extension (that uses .NET)

Seems that you aren't the only one with this: http://forums.apexdc.net/tracker/issue- ... is-called/

Have you tested if the 32 bit version crashes?
