Does AirDC Web work on a Synology NAS as a client?
Is there a way to get AirDC running on a Synology NAS as a client?
Everything else can be done via Web GUI.
I have found Linux versions for ARM, but nothing on Synology. I know, that there is an official(?) version for QNAP.

Have you tried using the ARM binaries?
At least someone is doing it: https://github.com/airdcpp-web/airdcpp- ... issues/272
I think that you can also run it with Docker: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4809

Unfortunately my DS418j isn't compatible to Docker and there is no workaround (yet).
I am a more or less basic Synology user and don't know, what to do with the binaries. Must they be started through the console or is there an easier way?

Yeah, you need to do it from the console. I can't think of anything else that could be done. Hopefully someone will create a native package for Synology that could be used.

The web GUI is much prettier than expected. There is nothing important i miss to use DC++ compared to the windows client. Nice work!

Re: Does AirDC Web work on a Synology NAS as a client?
I had to restart my NAS after a couple of months and now AirDC doesn't startup anymore.
I have to add that i moved the old install folder to my local usr folder. Since it is a ARM binary i thought, that all config data is stored in the same app folder.
I get this info, after starting the webclient:

Nothing happens afterwards and the webGUI isn't reachable.
Any suggestions?

The application seems to be running normally so I'm not sure that why the Web UI wouldn't be accessible. If you possibly have multiple config directories, you can specify the wanted one when launching the app (use the -h startup parameter for available options). You could also check the WebServer.xml config file to see if contains any network-related config that could cause problems.
